The possible applications for armourstones depend on their size and their weight. In general, they can be used for bank reinforcement, flood control reservoirs and the construction of bankside roads.
Armourstones are also suitable for bank reinforcements around ponds and streams as well as decorative stones in the garden. M-Logistik is your trustworthy, well-experienced partner for the supply of armourstones by the standard TLW 2003, DIN EN standard 13833 and in special sizes.
For more than 50 years, we source our armourstones from different quarries in Norway. On site, they are mined with traditional, yet highly efficient methods – always in compliance with nature. After that, they are transported to us by ship.
As a long-standing provider of armourstones, we are well aware of the increasing requirements for hydraulic engineering projects. That is why we have added a MultiDocker with orange peel grab to our harbor terminal in Cuxhaven. This enables us to safely unload even the largest armourstones with a weight of up to 200 kilograms and prepare them for further transport.
In cooperation with international partners, M-Logistik has provided more than 1.5 million armourstones for the deepening of the river Elbe and the construction of an underwater bank. We also take part in the Fehmarn Belt – one of the biggest construction projects in Europe.
