RoRo describes a method of loading and unloading cargo without any special appliances. Instead, the freight is being rolled on and off the vessel.

RoRo heavy-duty ramps are essential for the easy and fast transport of weighty loads – e.g., loading of excavators, transport of heavy machines and wings of wind power plants or handling of heavy goods with a weight of more than 100 tons.
At our harbor in Cuxhaven, loading heavy goods onto the ship is easy for our customers – thanks to the landing stages. This part of the harbor offers a unique benefit: The water is calm and at a steady depth of 80 centimeters. Landing crafts with heavy loads can dock without difficulty.
With our RoRo heavy-duty ramp and a rope winch, we pull everything safely ashore – over the 0.8-meters high quay wall or the flat bank. This service is ideal for onshore and offshore wind power plants, suction lines, wrecks, industrial plants as well as parts of bridges and concrete with a weight of up to 500 tons. Our heavy-duty ramp also pulls ashore river barges and cutters. Massive crawler excavators with a weight of more than 100 tons – not a problem for our equipment and our on-site team.
For more than 50 years, M-Logistik is in charge of the supply and disposal for the German islands and Heligoland. Additionally, we carry out the port handling of goods for hydraulic engineering and coastal protection.
